Healthy Child Programme (HCP) - Health Visitors and School Nursing

The Sussex Community Foundation Trust Healthy Child Programme is for children and Young People. It includes health Visiting and School nursing services.

Health Visitors and School Nurses, also known as Specialist Community Public Health Nurses, are qualified nurses or midwives who have completed additional training in public health.

Your local health visiting, and school nursing includes  staff nursesassistant practitioners, community nursery nursesschool health assistants, and health and wellbeing youth workers.

These award-winning websites are designed to teach children and young people about their physical and mental health in a fun and engaging way, helping them make choices that support their wellbeing. 

All three websites are easy to use, offer a read-aloud function for people with visual and/or hearing disabilities, and can be accessed on smartphones.
