What does this service provide?

Who we are 

We are the oral health promotion team, part of the special care dental service. We are a team of dental nurses with additional qualifications in oral health and teaching. 

What we do 

We can offer oral health training for any professional service who is involved with any personal care.  

We can also advise on how to refer to the Special Care Dental Service.

Appointment types 

We provide 1:1 face to face dental advice and tooth brushing support for those with additional needs, which have been requested by health care professionals.

We can offer services to anyone in Brighton and Hove, and for professional carers of 0–5 year olds in East and West Sussex. 

We also attend groups that have invited us.

Opening hours

We are open Monday to Friday from, 8:30am to 4:30pm but we can offer sessions outside of these times with prior arrangement.
