This is a step by step guide to read to children who need to have their hearing checked.

Sometimes children find it hard to hear.

To find out how well I can hear, I will visit an Audiologist.

The Audiologist is someone who looks in my ears with a special light.

I will try to keep still when the Audiologist looks in my ears with a special light.

The Audiologist may also play listening games with me.

I will try to listen to different quiet sounds.

The Audiologist will put a soft tip in my ear for a short time.

This is OK, it will help the computer draw a line.

The Audiologist will be pleased when I've had my hearing test.
