Staff Networks at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust

We recognise the importance of fostering a sense of belonging, connection and support for our staff and volunteers. Our Staff Networks play a crucial role in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and heard. These networks provide a platform for employees to connect, share experiences and collaborate on initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion.

We are proud to host a variety of Staff Networks at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.

EMBRACE (Ethnic Minorities Broadening Racial Awareness and Cultural Exchange)

Our EMBRACE Staff Network aims to create a supportive working environment for colleagues from ethnically diverse backgrounds and continuously advocate for racial equity through celebrating cultural diversity.

Disability and Wellbeing

The Disability and Wellbeing Staff Network provides support to staff with disabilities and neurodiversity, aiming to remove barriers to inclusion and improving accessibility, as well as enhancing understanding around reasonable adjustments.

Our LGBTQIA+ Staff Network promotes visibility, acceptance, and equality for our LGBTQIA+ staff and communities. The network aims to maintain a supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ colleagues and promote an understanding amongst all staff of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Religion and Belief

Our Religion and Belief Staff Network is an inclusive community open to all staff members, regardless of their faith, religion or belief. The network aims to celebrate an equitable environment where everyone's religious and spiritual perspectives are respected.
