Our three step recruitment process is comprehensive but fair, and we want to encourage a broad range of volunteers as this will bring extra diversity and skills to our services. The minimum age is 18, there is no upper age limit.
- To have a long-term health condition and to have completed a self-management course.
- Complete an application form, declaration form and provide two references. We also require a Disclosure and Barring Check (formerly CRB).
- Informal interview followed by a compulsory four day training session.
