Crimbo Cookie Competition

Crimbo Cookie Competition Website Tile

Saturday the 4th of December marks National Cookie Day – that’s right, there is an actual day of cookies! Thankfully, we are talking about the delicious baked goods, not the annoying internet cookies – which let’s face it, have their day EVERY day.

What’s more, this day has actually been knocking around for decades – with the Cookie Monster first declaring the day in 1976, followed in 1987 by one of the founders of Blue Chip Cookie Company, Matt Nader, bookmarking the day as the 4th of December.

How to celebrate the day you ask? Well, one of our favourite ways is to eat cookies – but another way could be to take part in our Crimbo Cookie Decorating Competition!

Here’s how to take part

Firstly, it’s FREE to enter.

All you need to do is whip up a batch of cookies and get creative with your design (it doesn’t have to be festive). Then, take a photo of your creation and tag us in on social media:

Instagram/Twitter @scft_charity

Facebook @scftcharity

If you are not a fan of posting on socials, do not despair - there is also the option for you to submit your entry by email via sc.tr-charity@nhs.net

When taking the email route, we would then post your entry picture, but with only as many details as you are happy with (for example, we would not post your full name if you did not want us to).

Entries can be submitted from now until midnight on the 4th of December.

Although we will be unable to taste the cookies, we are interested in what flavour they are and the crunch factor.

Paul and Prue will not be on hand to judge, but a Star Baker will be announced for the best design and there will be a PRIZE.

A few Ts and Cs…

  • One winner will be contacted by the 10th of December, and this will only be via our charity accounts or official email address.

  • No cash alternative.

  • UK entries only.
