I am committed to both representing the people of Worthing and contributing to the governance of the Trust.
I was elected to be a councillor on Worthing Borough Council and I am part of the Cabinet leading the Council since May 2022.
I worked in the NHS and Adult Social Care for over 25 years. 18 of those years were with the Trust where I managed a range of services including specialist children's services, adult rehabilitation, integrated adult health and social care services.
Since leaving the Trust more than 10 years ago, I have worked as an interim manager and a leadership coach. I have experience working and volunteering in the community and voluntary sector in schools, with young people, older people and women who are survivors.
I was a Director of Brighton and Hove Community Land Trust for five years until 2022 supporting the set-up and development of the organisation.
My skills include developing excellent collaborative relationships, problem solving, chairing meetings, analysing information, and explaining it simply. Being a governor for Worthing is a unique opportunity to use my wide experience and varied skills.
