SCFT Wheelchair Service appoints approved repairer

After a competitive procurement process AJM Healthcare has won the contract to maintain the wheelchair service’s wheelchair stock. AJM Healthcare is the incumbent contractor and its responsibilities include deliveries, collections, repairs and refurbishment.

The new contract will go-live on Friday 1 July 2016. As it is a roll-over contract, the impact on patients should be minimal.

As part of the new contract, AJM Healthcare will locate all our wheelchair stock at their Worthing depot to enable a more efficient service to our service users in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. They will also be adapting the depot to accommodate our Worthing wheelchair team, including creating an office and 2 clinic rooms on site to see service users – it is expected these will be operational from Saturday 1 October 2016.
