If your child is open to Seaside View Services, you and any other carers are welcome to join our online workshop. There is no referral form. These are one-off workshops, so it is only necessary to attend one of the dates. We have the following upcoming workshops:
Supporting Children with Demand Avoidance
For parents whose children are avoiding demands to the extent that this is making life difficult
Gain a better understanding of this behaviour. Discuss with other parents and professionals and learn strategies to manage it

Building positive bonds and boundaries
For parents looking to better understand and build their relationship with their child, whilst also improving their cooperation.
Discussing the balance between being too soft and too strict, setting appropriate boundaries and meeting your child's individual additional needs.

Understanding selective eating and managing mealtimes - workshop for parents/carers
Who is this workshop for?
For parents/carers, of children 3+, struggling with understanding selective eating and managing mealtimes.
What will we do?
- a team of professionals will provide a presentation, with interactive elements and a chance to discuss and feedback at the end
- provide knowledge, advice and reassurance
- share ideas and help parents/carers to feel supported by one another
What is the aim of this workshop?
- to increase understanding of the areas surrounding selective eating
- to reduce stress surrounding mealtimes
- to help parents/carers by aiding them with support strategies and techniques
