Inpatient Unit - Piper Ward, Crawley Hospital

Piper Ward is a 26 bedded ward that provides short term rehabilitation for individuals over 18 years of age. Individuals are referred for rehabilitation following an acute worsening in their health such as infection, an acute hospital admission following illness or surgery, a fall, a new stroke or an adjustment of complex medication. 10 of the 26 beds support stroke rehabilitation providing short term rehabilitation for Sussex patients aged over 18 following a stroke.
