The Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Lewes Victoria Hospital is now closed until Spring 2020 whilst it undergoes major work to provide improved services as an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC).

We are a minor injuries unit staffed by Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Specialist Care Practitioners supported by experienced Healthcare Assistants. We provide assessment and treatment of a wide range of minor injuries in both adults and children. Following assessment patients may be treated and discharged or, if appropriate, referred onto other health care providers.

X-ray facilities available on site.

Patients can call our NHS 111 service, visit their pharmacists or local GP.

You can also access the same services at Uckfield Community Hospital which is just a 20 minute drive away on Framfield Road, Uckfield TN22 5AW
