The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is an evidenced based programme for young pregnant women.
If you are under 20 and expecting your first baby, a Family Nurse can visit you to help you have a healthy pregnancy and enjoy being the best mum.
The specially trained Nurse will help you to understand all about your pregnancy and how to care well for yourself and your baby. The Nurse will visit you regularly during your pregnancy and then after the baby is born until your baby is two years of age. The visits can take place at a venue of your choice, at home, a children’s centre or a café etc.
