Overnight Community Nursing Service (West Sussex)
We are a team of community nurses who provide urgent nursing care to housebound adults in their own homes, between the hours of 6pm to 8am, 7 days a week. Our service is for patients registered with a West Sussex GP. Urgent Nursing Care is considered to be any nursing intervention that cannot wait until the next day or, will avoid hospital admission, e.g blocked catheters & catheter problems, end of life care, pain relief, wound care as a result of a fall or leaking wounds, injections and diabetic care to name a few.
We have a 2 hour response time and all calls will be prioritised by the senior nurse in charge on receipt of the referral. Following any intervention by the Overnight Team you will be referred on to the appropriate service. We cannot accept any long term care needs.

- How To Access:Patients, GP's, relatives, carers, paramedics, acute and community hospitals, and district nurses, can access the service via One Call Coastal, telephone 01903 254 789. The patients details will be taken and referred on to the appropriate nursing team. If you require a GP please contact the Out of hours GP provider.
