Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Bognor War Memorial Hospital

Our unit is designed to see people who have a minor injury. We see both adults and children. Our team of emergency nurse practitioners are able to see, diagnose and treat minor injuries. They can also refer people to any necessary follow-up clinics relating to their minor injury that may be needed.

- How To Access:
People can self refer and book in to the department. We do NOT see people who have a major injury or a major illness, i.e. chest pain. These people should go straight to their nearest Accident and Emergency department. We do not see people who have a minor illness or who cannot get an appointment to see their GP. These people should contact their GP surgery for the next available appointment.
