The Specialist Dietitians are a small team of registered Dietitians based at Uckfield Hospital and Chailey Clinical Services.
We have had specialised training to support you with your diet and nutrition therapy.
We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

- How To Access:Access to a specialist dietitian is one of The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance recommendations for nutrition support.
We work alongside your Doctor, Specialist Nurses and Speech and Language Therapist to provide you with the individualised advice you need.

- How to find us:Dietetic clinics are held in Crowborough, Forest Row, Heathfield, Lewes, Peacehaven and Uckfield.
We often have joint appointments with Speech and Language Therapists and or Specialist Nurses.

What should I expect at my appointment?
- We will listen to you. Please tell us what you want to get from your appointment with us and how you feel we can support you in achieving your treatment goals.
- We may ask you about what you eat and drink and how this fits into your daily life.
- We may ask you about your current medication.
- We may ask you about activity levels and other factors that can affect your food requirements.
What to bring to your appointment:
- A food and drink diary. Record everything you eat and drink over 3-4 days and include any physical activity you have done.
- A record of your current medications.
- A list of questions you may have.
