What does this service provide?
Who we are
We are work place nurseries primarily for Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust staff, but also for staff at other trusts and emergency services. We also provide a small number of places to the local community.
All our staff are qualified to at least a level 3 in childcare.
All staff have regular training update courses, including first aid, Safeguarding Children, food hygiene and child development courses.
What we do
The nurseries provide care and education for children aged 0-5 years, in a fun and stimulating environment and catering for:
- Butterfly Nursery (Hove) - 43 children per day
- Hilltop Nursery (Brighton) - 22 children per day
- Rainbow Nursery (Crawley) - 22 children per day
Free places are available for eligible 2, 3 and 4 years old. Please contact us to find out more.
Flexible 'Drop 'n' go' sessions are available at an hourly rate.
We also offer school holiday cover for children up to 7 years of age.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS) and age appropriate activities are available throughout the day for the children to participate, if they wish.
All the nurseries have large gardens with play equipment, soft surface flooring and sensory flower gardens, digging areas and mud kitchens.
We can help you with transition to back to work, breast feeding support while returning to work, and tax benefits by paying your nursery fees through Child Care Vouchers.
