Diabetes - Community Diabetes Team (Worthing, Adur, Arun and Chichester)
We are a team of Diabetes Specialist Nurses (DSN). We work collaboratively with the Diabetes Teams at St Richard's and Worthing Hospitals to provide specialist advice for patients in the community. Our team facilitates self-management of diabetes wherever possible.
We run clinics at GP surgeries with the practice nurse where we see patients to review their diabetes. We also run group education sessions and work closely with other community teams across the area. We also provide formal and informal education to other health care professionals within the Worthing, Adur, Arun, Chichester areas.

- How To Access:GPs, practice nurses, dieticians and DSNs can refer people to the clinics at their GP surgeries.
We also have a Diabetes Helpline that patients, carers or other healthcare professionals can use to obtain advice regarding diabetes. The Helpline is manned Monday - Friday during office hours (except public holidays and weekends). Generally you will hear an answer phone message.
If you leave your name, telephone number and times you can be contacted, a Diabetes Specialist Nurse will return your call. We endeavour to return calls within the same working day but it is not always possible. - Contact Details:Worthing, Adur and Arun
