NHS recruitment webinar aims to attract allied health professionals

Are you an allied health professional (AHP) who is looking for a new challenge?

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is hosting a special recruitment webinar this September to attract AHPs to its teams in West Sussex.

The Trust is the largest provider of community services in West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and High Weald Lewes and Havens. Expert teams provide essential medical, nursing and therapeutic care to more than 9,000 adults, children and families every single day.

SCFT is harnessing the power of digital technology to throw open its doors ‘virtually’ with a recruitment webinar on Thursday, 17 September where people can meet and chat with staff about what it’s really like to work for the Trust and learn more about the opportunities available.

The webinar will focus on the current vacancies in SCFT’s Response Services Teams in Horsham, Haywards Heath, Worthing and Chichester. These teams visit patients in their own homes, including patients who live in care homes or temporary accommodation, to provide short term nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy support to help recovery and avoid admission to acute hospitals.

Beth Morris, Head of Resourcing at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The enormous challenges of coronavirus means it’s not possible to hold our physical open days at the moment but we’re excited to be able to harness the power of digital technology to offer and promote these exciting job opportunities in a different way.

“Our incredible Responsive Services teams make a real difference to the lives of countless people every single day. Anyone that joins works in a multidisciplinary team – that’s a team with people who all hold different and complimentary clinical skills - and we are committed to the ongoing development and training of all our staff.”
