Apprentices will gain hands on experience and earn a salary while studying for a health-related degree in one of four areas:

Each apprenticeship has its own entry requirement but as a minimum all clinical apprenticeships require:
The apprenticeships are being offered by SCFT’s Learning Academy. It aims to provide career opportunities for people living in local communities and offers support to existing staff who want to progress their careers and gain professional qualifications.
Applications are now open for podiatry and occupational therapy; nursing and physiotherapy will open at the end of February 2023. Successful candidates will join SCFT in summer 2023 with the university teaching element commencing in September 2023.
Full details, including the minimum entry requirements for each course, application form and answers to frequently asked questions, are on the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust website.
