Brighton Pride is back!
We are so excited as this year, Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust will have a bigger presence than ever before, with up to 60 staff from our LGBTQ+ Network participating in the parade (be sure to give them a wave) and our official charity, Sussex Community NHS Charity, hosting a stall in the Community Village at Preston Park.
Come and say ‘hi’ to us on our charity stall on Saturday 6 August, we’ll be there with the support of SCFT’s LGBTQ+ Network to connect with our community, share the work we do, and add some glitter to your day – literally!
There will be a ‘beautiful’ 2D special guest with us, giving you the opportunity to take a fabulous selfie to share on your socials - tag us in @scft_charity #SCFTCharityXtina
Our charity stall will also be giving out goodie bags to the first 25 people to visit us – that’s right, free stuff.
The event, taking place in Preston Park on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August, is set to be a huge celebration after returning from a 3-year hiatus – and also marking the delayed 30th anniversary of Brighton & Hove Pride.
Described as the ‘UKs most popular international Pride Festival’, some of the world’s biggest music stars have headlined over the years, including Kylie Minogue, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones and Britney Spears.
This year sees Grammy Award-winning singer Christina Aguilera taking to the stage on Saturday and British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith, headlining on Sunday.
We can’t wait to see you there!
