Public Health England warns of rise in cases of measles

Yesterday (August 20) Public Health England published the latest data on measles infections.

It showed an increase in recorded cases to 828 laboratory confirmed cases in England.

There were 169 laboratory confirmed cases in the South East.

How you can help

The best way to protect children from this disease is to have them immunised. If your child has not had, or completed the MMR vaccination course please contact your G.P surgery to arrange for your child to be immunised as soon as possible.
