Bognor Hospital is celebrating its 100th Birthday – join the fun at the annual Summer Fete – Saturday 27 July

Bognor Hospital in 1919

Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital has been providing care and support to the local community for 100 years. Why not show your support and be part of the annual Summer Fete.

The Fete is organised by the Bognor Regis Friends of the Hospital who have been raising funds to support the work at the hospital and health and care in the community for many decades.

The Friends raise funds with the help of many local organisations and their team of dedicated volunteers. They run events such as the annual Hospital Fete and attend local community events to raise funds. Many local people have also been kind enough to leave the Friends a Legacy in their will.

Through their generous support the Friends have provided much needed equipment to improve both patient and staff experience. In the current year, various items have been purchased including a new digital slit lamp to help with eye examinations in the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU), new garden tables and chairs for the Chapel Garden and motorised blinds for Don Baines and Leslie Smith in-patient wards.

The Friends are currently fundraising to purchase a new gymnasium at the hospital.
