Sheridan
Business Support Manager
Sussex Rehabilitation Centre

Sheridan joined the Trust in 2010. He initially worked in our Complaints Team for five years and then progressed to a role in our Assurance Team. This experience gave Sheridan a good overview and understanding of all the services the Trust provides. During this time Sheridan was able to build good relationships with a wide range of clinical and support staff.

Sheridan has also supported the Trust in becoming CQC compliant during our first CQC inspection and led on the Trust roll out of the Patient and Families Test - where service users and people who come into contact with our services can provide their feedback based on their experience of care.

In September 2015 Sheridan moved to Sussex Rehabilitation Centre as Business Support Manager. Sheridan is passionate about working at the frontline and providing the best patient care. Sheridan said "I'm still really excited about my role - I enjoy data, budgets and managing contracts. I work very closely with our contractors to ensure we provide the best service possible."

Sheridan loves working for SCFT. He said "There are lots of opportunities for people that want to do more. People get the right training and support to develop in their careers. And in comparison to working in the private sector the Trust offers a good work-life balance."

Sheridan and the team are in the process of planning their NHS70 birthday celebration.
