Nikki
Clinical Services Manager in Brighton

I feel that the NHS is the best health service in the world, it's something I am very passionate about and proud to be a part of.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) in particular, is one of the best organisations that I’ve ever worked for. I am committed to this Trust and would not be where I am today without them. I’ve progressed and developed from a Health Care Assistant to a Senior Manager with Responsive Services.

The standard at SCFT is extremely high, and is somewhere that has the most amazing opportunities to grow and learn. We are an organisation that encourages individual growth, and I am proud of that.

The future for SCFT particularly is extremely bright, and hopefully the Trust will be recognised for its commitment to both staff and their patients. Compassionate care and the safety of patients is paramount to the ethos that this organisation works under – excellent care at the heart of the community.

My NHS heroes would have to be my team, Responsive Services - they are dedicated to ensuring patient safety and compassionate care, and go out and see patients rain or shine. They are a truly committed team and work extremely hard, I couldn’t be prouder of them.

The NHS turning 70 shows us how 70 years of hard work by a dedicated workforce, can serve a community. The challenges we face every day don’t stop us from our commitment and dedication to our community.
