Quality Improvement Facilitator

The best thing about the NHS is our staff, they are our greatest asset.

I’ve worked for the NHS since I was 18, so over 35 years, and originally started out as a Nurse working for many years as a District Nurse serving people in the community.

I then went onto work in Nurse Education as a Practice Teacher/Educator and have in recent years, worked within practice development and quality improvement.

Over the years, despite increasing pressures and demands, I’ve seen excellent practice and patient centred care. I’m passionate about valuing and engaging all of our staff in improvements. I’m very proud to work for the NHS, and even after all these years, I’m continuing to learn and develop every day.
