Our Charity is launching it's brand new dedicated website in April 2024, in the meantime, you can find essential information below, find updates on social media, and get in touch for information on upcoming opportunities to support.
Who we are
Our aim is to give people choice about the care they receive and to enhance the welfare of patients and staff. Whenever and wherever people need us, we will meet their needs with high quality services that are safe, effective, compassionate and respectful. Our Charity supports the work of the Trust to deliver the vision of excellent care at the heart of the community. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our communities, who raise and donate vital funds, we are able to provide grants for equipment, programmes or services that can't be funded by the core NHS budget.
Through our active grant-making programmes, the charity aims to:
- Improve patient welfare, for example through clinical innovation, advanced technologies, facility upgrades, medical research and art and design programmes
- Support the Trust's staff and volunteers through advanced training and development programmes and recognition schemes
- Create patient-friendly care environments and enhanced staff experience through improvements to physical spaces
