NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression in long-term health conditions

 

Do you live with a long-term health condition? NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies for long-term health conditions (formally Time to Talk Health) is a free talking therapies service that could help. 

NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies is not a crisis service and we are not able to provide crisis support. If you are in crisis and need urgent support please contact one of the following services:

  • The Samaritans: 116 123 (24hrs)
  • NHS 111 and select the mental health option to be connected to a 24/7 mental health crisis line
  • Text SUSSEX to 85258. This free, confidential, anonymous text support service is available 24/7 and is run by trained volunteers
  • Your local A&E department
  • Stay Alive App
  • Your GP and request an urgent appointment

    You can ask your healthcare nurse, doctor or GP to refer you, or you can self-refer to NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies for long-term health conditions using the online referral.

    You can also ring us on 01273 666480 Monday to Friday between 9am to 4.45pm.  If you leave an answer phone message outside of these hours, we will respond to you the next working day.

    We have appointments and courses from 8am to 6.45pm. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.45pm.

    We deliver the NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies service for long-term health conditions in venues across West Sussex. When you have your initial assessment, we will work with you to find the best location for you, or provide you with treatment you can access online or on the telephone.
