Appointment information

Appointment types

Planned Treatment Centres are an appointment-only service.

When patients attend their first appointment, they will receive a full assessment.  A wound review will be carried out if required and a treatment plan specific to the patient will be agreed.

Future appointments will be scheduled and during these appointments, progress or deterioration will be monitored and if necessary, ongoing specialist referrals will be made. After you have been discharged from our service, you can re-refer yourself should you have any further complications.

Who you'll see

You will be seen by a member of our team, and this may be an associate practitioner, a nurse or a healthcare assistant.
