Haywards Heath Health Centre services

  • Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and Chronic Fatigue Service (CFS)

    This service provides support for people over 16 living in Sussex affected by mild to moderate Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

  • Podiatry and Orthotics Services

    This service is made up of registered podiatrists, orthotists, nurses and health care assistants who provide a comprehensive foot health service to adults and children across West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.

  • Special Care Dental Service

    This service is a team of dentists, dental therapists and dental nurses who provide a service for children and adults who are unable to have treatment at a general dental practice as extra support is required.

  • Emergency Dental Service

    This service provides an out of hours service for when a patient's condition needs urgent attention by a dentist.

Many minor injuries and illnesses can be handled at minor injury units (MIUs) or urgent treatment centres (UTCs) across Sussex.

For severe and life-threatening emergencies

Accident and emergency (A&E) is for serious injuries and life-threatening emergencies.

These are things like loss of consciousness, suspected heart attacks, breathing difficulties, or severe bleeding that cannot be stopped.
