Appointment information

Appointment types

All our appointments are in person.

When a patient attends the unit, a full set of observations are carried out which can include blood tests, x-rays, scans and electrocardiograms (ECG) as needed. The doctor on duty will review your results and arrange for any further tests required.  Any blood tests or medications required during your visit will be performed by a nurse.

Usually patients will be assessed, treated and discharged during their visit. Treatment summaries and any follow up advice or treatment are shared with your GP following your visit.

Who you'll see

You'll see our on-duty doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants.
